Wedding days
Good lightCalm on wedding days. The best photos usually happen when everyone can breathe a little.
Teacher brain. Workshops, AI, and photography all come back to making complicated things feel usable.
Real life first. Sarah, four kids, travel, running, and the everyday stuff keep the work honest.
Bud Johnson is a Professional Photographer, and a freelance content creator & writer. He has a deep passion for capturing special moments and telling visual stories. His portfolio includes a wide range of events and subjects, from massive gatherings with tens of thousands of attendees, to intimate moments with high-profile individuals. (He’s got an intriguing story about Tim McGraw and some Canadian Premieres you’ll have to ask him about)
A fitness enthusiast and distance runner, Bud loves spending time in nature and staying active. He is married to his high school sweetheart, Sarah, and they have four (incredible) children. Bud is well known in Savannah for his persistent good attitude and optimism, remaining calm even when timelines get wonky or weather gets challenging. His (not so) secret agenda is to be the happiest, kindest wedding professional you’ll ever meet.
He’s a known educator, having taught photography workshops in Europe and all over America. He regularly speaks at conferences and is a brand ambassador for some of the best brands in the industry. He’s also helped countless other photographers know and understand the role of Ai in their workflows, and is passionate about helping other photographers find a meaningful career in photography and entrepreneurism.
If you want to geek out about running, photography, yoo-hoos, and hilarious wedding stories, you’ve found your new favorite photographer. Oh, and his photos are pretty amazing, too. He would LOVE to meet you.
