Just the two of you. Forsyth Park. The squares. A gorgeous Lowcountry evening. Beautiful photos with zero stress.

There's something about an elopement that strips everything back to what actually matters — two people, the moment, and the light. No 200-person guest list pulling attention in every direction. Just you, your person, and a photographer who's happy to follow wherever the day takes you.
Savannah is one of the most beautiful places in the country for an elopement. Spanish moss, afternoon light through the oaks, the Forsyth Park fountain, the Garden of Fragrance. You don't have to look very hard for a gorgeous backdrop here.
Forsyth Park is the most requested location — the fountain, the shade garden, the oak canopy along the south end. It's busy during peak hours, so we time it right. The Garden of Fragrance inside Forsyth is a quieter, more private option for the ceremony itself.
Other favorites: Lafayette Square and the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist, Wormsloe Historic Site (permit required), Bonaventure Cemetery for moody late-afternoon light, and the various squares throughout the historic district.
If you have somewhere specific in mind, let's talk through it. Most Savannah locations are workable with a little planning.
Bud is not an officiant, but he can point you toward trusted officiants he's worked with. For marriage licenses in Georgia, you'll apply at the courthouse — Bud is happy to walk you through what's needed during your consultation call.
Absolutely. Most "elopements" Bud shoots include 5 to 20 guests. You don't have to be alone for it to feel intimate. The Elopement Package just means it's a shorter, simpler, lower-stress version of a full wedding day.
Mostly time and logistics. A full wedding day includes 6–10 hours of coverage, multiple locations, and often a second photographer. The Elopement Package is 1–2 hours, one or two locations, one photographer. Great for couples who want the photos without the production.
Yes. Bud photographs elopements on Tybee Island, at Hilton Head, Jekyll Island, and further afield when the timing works. The weddings page has more on travel and destination coverage.
