Forsyth is Savannah’s largest park, and easily one of it’s most visited attractions – by tourists and locals alike! The park is a great place to people watch, take a break in the oak tree’s shade, or even bring the kids to play and their amazing playgrounds. Of course, my favorite thing to do, is to bring people new to the city, and introduce them to our gorgeous park with a photo session!

Erika and Leo actually found me on instagram! Erika was searching for some inspiration and a photographer in our town, and since I love instagram, she found our photos all over the place! A few short messages back and forth and we scheduled this gorgeous session! We started with a sunrise session by the fountain, followed by a few photos on some of the walking paths that crisscross the park, and actually ended the session in a very friendly local’s historic house!

The three of us were walking down the street when a very kind woman walked up to us to congratulate Erika and Leo. She insisted we come see her newly renovated home, and even suggested we take photos on her balcony! Since I tend to have a hard time saying ‘no,’ and because I thought this would make for a great story for Erika and Leo – we all agreed, and went to see Mrs. Iris’s home. Sure enough, the home was gorgeous and she was the perfect picture of southern hospitality. So not only did we get some great Engagement Photos in Forsyth Park, but we also got a unique tour and view from the third story balcony of an incredibly kind local. Only in Savannah!
