This blog post is dedicated to my wife, Sarah. Her hard work, amazing work ethic, and grace under pressure, is inspiring and amazing to watch. And because of her hard work and her ability to make friends effortlessly, this amazing team of wedding professionals were able to get into one of Savannah’s most beautiful treasures, The Mansion of Forsyth Park. The Odyssey gown from Modern Trousseau looks like it was made for The Mansion!

This all started with an instagram post. One of the best bridal boutiques and gown shops in town, Modern Trousseau, posted some images of new gowns they had in stock. I think milliseconds after they posted an image, I was already direct messaging them asking to coordinate a photoshoot with them. Little did I know that Modern Trousseau was going to pull out all the stops and loop in several more amazing teams from Savannah into our shoot.

Kaitlynn Thayer, who is actually the national sales director for Modern Trousseau, was our model for the day. A few times I heard her say how excited she was to do this – she doesn’t get the chance to have her hair and make up done by a professional team, and model one of Modern Trousseau’s newest gowns! Kaitlynn invited the amazing team at Let It Blo, Kay did the hair, and Crissy did the make up. This was my first time meeting and working with these two, and they did amazing work! The beautiful bouquet for the day was provided by John Davis Florist, and were the perfect accessory to go along with Kaitlynn and the gown. The earrings Kaitlynn wore are actually from Modern Trousseau as well, the Ria line.
